“Abdel Qawi” signed an ethical and professional charter to provide services to citizens with quality, efficiency, integrity, and exchange of experiences between development associations and institutions.

Yasser Badry Monday 3/14/2022 Dr. Talaat Abdel-Qawi, President of the General Union of Civil Society Associations, said that the Union organized sessions in cooperation with the Decent Life Foundation and ended up holding a session with major civil society organizations to find out what they could offer to the nation this year, in conjunction with the fact that the current year is the year of civil society. Abdel-Qawi indicated, during his interview with the “Good Morning Egypt” program broadcast on Channel One, today, Monday, that they aim to provide services to the neediest families and poor areas, noting that the charter of the National Alliance for Civil Action was signed yesterday, as the vision agreed on the necessity of having a charter. There are 24 NGOs, the General Union of NGOs, and the Decent Life Foundation. He added that this charter is very strong, ethical and professional to provide services to citizens with quality, efficiency, integrity and exchange of experiences between development associations and institutions, noting that a higher committee will coordinate civil work in accordance with what was stipulated in the Charter of the National Alliance for Civil Development Action. He explained that the charter comes within what the Egyptian state aims to achieve Egypt’s Vision 2030, stressing that the government will not work alone and will not be the only source of financing initiatives, and the private sector will be a partner, as will the private sector. He added that the Ministry of Social Solidarity has a complete database regarding the villages and groups most in need, and the Decent Life Foundation presented, yesterday, everything the villages targeted by the initiative need to determine the jurisprudence of priorities, pointing out that the poverty rate in some areas of Upper Egypt reaches 70%.
